Hi! I'm Katy.

About five years ago, I was a stay at home mom of two boys (aged 2 years & 4 months) and I was slowly losing my mind in the long Illinois winter. The days were long and so were the nights and I can remember some days just crying out to God for SOMETHING - I wasn't sure what.

What I didn't know what that I was deep in the throes of postpartum anxiety - having two little kids and no schedule is no bueno for a Type A personality. Around this time I had an opportunity to let my boys take part in a Valentine's Day mini photo shoot with a friend that happened to be a photographer.

Not knowing what it would turn into, I decided to try my hand at making Jaden & Weston a couple of matching Valentine's Day ties. Because, truly, there are a million sweet accessories for little girls but I learned quickly that there isn't much out there for little guys.

So I made them a couple of ties and the rest, as they say, is history.

In my shop, Dressed to Thrill, I have found both a creative outlet and a lifeline out of the postpartum anxiety. It has been a Godsend and I am so thankful for the opportunity to do what I love.

I never expected to work with people from, literally, around the world. And I never dreamed I'd have the immense honor of having my products play a role in some of the most important days of my customers' lives: weddings, baptisms, birthdays …

My shop specializes in ties, bowties, and suspenders for babies, toddlers, and little boys. We stay on-trend and away from character prints. I pride myself on releasing patterns that are fun, hip, and modern - never cheesy.

Dressed to Thrill makes sure to keep up with current wedding styles and by popular demand are now offering our suspender and bowties sets to adults - we have outfitted groomsmen, ushers, and many a wedding party from all over the world.
